MINUTEMAN's new Enterprise 1U rackmount design incorporates
sophisticated UPS features into a unique and compact rackmount
format available in
700, 1000, and 1500 VA sizes to
cover a wide range of power requirements. As network installations
demand more and more real estate in the rack, it is important to
provide reliable UPS power without reducing available rack space.
With its true sine wave output, the Enterprise 1U provides
high-quality AC power, protecting today's sensitive network
equipment. Additionally, MINUTEMAN has integrated true buck and
boost voltage regulation to indefinitely stabilize output power,
even during extreme sag or surge conditions. Add to that, the
Enterprise 1U provides sophisticated communication features using
USB and RS232, or optional SNMP interfaces. MINUTEMAN's unique
Independent Battery Bypass™ design, along with load-shedding, and
front panel diagnostics make this the best-valued 1U rackmount
product available.
Power management software allows total
control
The new Enterprise 1U models are the first MINUTEMAN products to
include simultaneous use of USB and RS232 communications, with both
ports integrated into the back panel of the UPS. Both ports may be
used to interface with the branded MINUTEMAN Sentry Business™ power
management software. This software provides full diagnostic
capabilities, as well as the ability to automatically shutdown
connected equipment. With MINUTEMAN's load-shedding technology, it
is now possible to shutdown non-critical equipment connected to the
UPS in order to extend the runtime of critical network components
during extended blackout conditions. MINUTEMAN also provides full
SNMP capabilities through an optional internal SNMP card slot, which
makes the UPS an addressable device on the network.
