| PowerSure Personal UPS offers big power
protection performance in a small package. Perfect for one-on-one protection
of PC's, network nodes, and other sensitive electronic equipment, the
Personal provides standard features unavailable on most competitive systems.
Advanced overload protection and battery monitoring provide a level of
reliability usually not found in UPS units at this price level. It also
provides superior performance against noise, transients, lightning and
surges, for a full spectrum of protection for your sensitive loads.
In addition, the Personal allows for informative local monitoring, as
well as remote monitoring and automatic shutdown capabilities.
With features such as these, you can see why PowerSure Personal is

Superior Performance
Four or More Minutes of Battery Back-Up, Typical, At Full Load
provides ample time to perform an orderly shutdown.
Lightning and Surge Protection that conforms to IEEE/ANSI C62.41
(IEEE 587) Category A (115V) for surge suppression; IEC 801-5 level 3
(230V).
Dual, Full-Time Filtering of Electrical Noise and Transients. EMI
and RFI filtering improves power quality to connected equipment during
normal operation, meeting FCC (Part 15, Class B) (115V); EN55022 Class B
(230V) standards.
Stepped Sinewave Output gives best approximation to sinewave in
its class, making it better for computer power supplies.
Wide Input Voltage Range allows you to maximize time on utility
power and battery life for when itÕs needed most.
Lightweight/Compact Design makes it ideal for desktop use.
Automatic, Continuous Overload Protection. The UPS monitors for
overload on both utility and battery operation, preventing inadvertent
shutdown during emergency situations and optimizing run time. Two levels of
overload protection to protect your equipment -- Level One: audible and
visual alarms; Level Two: the unit will not start, preventing inadvertent
damage to the connected load and the UPS. |
| Intelligent Battery
Operation
Continuous Battery Monitoring. PowerSure Personal charges the
battery when AC power is supplied (even when the unit is turned off), and
monitors the charge level, ensuring that back-up power is available when you
need it.
Battery Start Capabilities. PowerSure Personal allows you to start
the UPS and the attached equipment from the battery, providing sufficient
time to copy a disk, print a document or complete a critical task.
Advance Warning to Plan a Shutdown. Audible and visual alarms
immediately warn you of low battery time remaining, allowing time to shut
down before battery time runs out.
Alarm Indications are provided for low battery, battery test
failure, charger overload/short circuit and overvoltage.
Warranty
Two-Year Warranty With Optional Extensions to Five Years.
Liebert's standard two-year warranty ensures replacement of your UPS if it
experiences problems during the warranty period. Liebert will ship a
replacement unit in order to get your system power back on-line as soon as
possible. Our warranty extension program allows you to add up to three years
to your original warranty, for up to five years of full protection.

Multiple
Communications Capabilities
Full Time Monitoring with built-in display indicators helps keep
you informed of normal and out-of-spec conditions from the front display
panel or remotely through SiteNet MultiLink or SiteNet 1 software. The
Personal's communications port seamlessly integrates with SiteNet MultiLink
shutdown software, offering data protection for one or more computers.
- SiteNet® MultiLink. Power surveillance and shutdown
management software works with your UPS to provide a simple,
easy-to-configure computer protection solution in multi-platform,
networked environments. The Personal's communications port seamlessly
integrates with MultiLink software (available free at www.Liebert.com)
offering data protection for one or many computers. The cable needed for
connection ships with the UPS.
- SiteNet®1. UPS monitoring and shutdown software
prevents unexpected server shutdowns by automatically monitoring UPS
activity and closing down protected nodes if utility power remains off.
- SiteNet MultiPort. With the MultiPort multiplexer, up to eight
computers, servers or workstations, each running SiteNet 1 software, can
monitor the status of a single UPS. A ninth port allows monitoring and UPS
management with SiteNet 2 monitoring and control software.
Optional Equipment
Micro POD Output Distribution and Maintenance Bypass Module. When
your computer system can't be without power, even for scheduled UPS
maintenance, Liebert Micro POD (Power Output Distribution) ensures
continuous uptime. It allows you to manually transfer connected equipment to
utility power via a maintenance bypass switch, permitting scheduled service
or UPS replacement without power disruption.
