Features
The Dual-Lite EZ-2R is an
architecturally styled, completely self-contained emergency lighting
unit designed for low-profile recessed mounting in walls or ceilings.
Unit construction consists of a heavy-gauge sheet metal back box and
injection-molded thermoplastic lamp housings and mounting plate in a
textured putty-color finish. Unit electronics include a fully automatic,
solid-state charger with low-voltage battery disconnect circuit, a test
switch and a charge rate pilot lamp. All electronics are attached to the
lamp head mounting plate for easy installation. The unit’s
maintenance-free battery is securely fastened within the metal back box.
Lamp head assemblies are fully directional and easily adjusted. The
EZ-2R unit may be easily recessed in standard construction walls or
suspended type ceilings.
Application/Installation:
The EZ-2R unit is designed
for recessed mounting in standard construction walls and ceilings as
well as suspended type ceilings. The unit’s metal back box may be
installed by nailing to wall studs or ceiling joists, suspended from
rigid conduit or ceiling grid mounted by means of optional troffer
mounting kit (F-CBM). Knockouts ( 7 /8") are provided for side, end or
rear surface conduit entry. Lamphead/electronics mounting plate affixes
to back box by means of four machine screws. AC lockout circuit prevents
accidental discharge of unit prior to AC power being applied.
