Battery Chargers and Battery Power Systems
Selection Guide
SENS manufactures several families of power conversion products, all of
which convert AC input to DC output. All are designed primarily for battery
backup application. The
LC charger is
a low current charger used for recharging and maintaining industrial
batteries, typically for engine starting.
FC & FCA chargers are used for the same purpose, but are available in higher power outputs and
with optional alarm systems. The
TD charger quickly
recharges batteries used in extended run-time UPS systems. 120/208/240 volt
input, 24 to 240 volts nominal output.
Filtered battery chargers offer 50/60 Hz input and dual voltage input
selection. The DCT
filtered rectifier/charger is ideal for powering constant DC
loads where smooth and stable DC output is required. Input and output
circuit breakers are standard, and units mount either in a relay rack or on
the wall. The F3 filtered
rectifier/charger, a higher-power version of the DCT
rectifier/charger, provides reliable DC to applications that require
three-phase input. The CM
rectifier/charger is designed for installation in relay racks
where space is at a premium. The CM is available with an integrated
distribution panel and low voltage load disconnect.
Three configurations of complete Battery Power Systems are offered. These
systems include rectifier/battery charger, battery, interconnections and
load control equipment. All are available in 12, 24, or 48-volt versions.
The 70 Series
is a complete relay rack-mounted battery power system offering 12,
24 or 48-volt DC output. The
63 Series offers a weatherproof cabinet
to house the rectifier, battery and control equipment. This battery power
system is ideal for placement on utility poles or other outdoor exposed
locations.
