SENS CM chargers/rectifiers supply reliable, efficient DC power to
telecommunications equipment, including cellular and point-to-point
microwave.
Designed for 19" rack mounting, SENS CM chargers/rectifiers are ideal for
space-restricted applications. They consume only 3 rack units and need no
space above or below for cooling. An optional distribution panel and
low-volt load disconnect are integrated into the charger further reducing
the need for rack space.
SENS CM chargers/rectifiers improve user and facility safety, as AC and
DC voltages are shielded from accidental contact by hands or tools.
Selection of 115 or 230 volts AC is via rear panel switch. 50/60 Hz
operation is standard.
An AC input cord is standard. DC output is through a polarity-protected,
snap-in connector with positive lock or the integrated distribution panel.
Connection to the multi-function alarm system's voltage-free contacts is
made through a terminal block on the rear panel.
SENS CM chargers/rectifiers are in use worldwide and have proven to be
highly reliable.

50/60 Hz, +5%; 115/230 volt switch selectable, +10%.
Output Voltage
12, 24, & 48 volts nominal. Factory adjusted to approximately 114% above
nominal for battery charging. Field adjustable to nominal voltage for power
supply use.
Output Voltage Regulation
+1% from no load to full load with simultaneous variations in input
voltage of 10% and frequency of 5%.
Current Limiting & Overload Protection

30 mV maximum ripple and 32 dBrnC voice-band noise when connected to a
battery having capacity in AH four times the ampere output rating of the
charger. 100 mV rms maximum with battery disconnected.
Parallel Operation
Chargers can be operated in parallel for redundancy. Chargers share load
when set up with a unit of similar current rating. Blocking diode is
standard.
